We dig into your goals, your concerns, and your full financial picture so we can see where we’d add the most value.

We walk you through what it would look like to work together.
No prep. No pressure. Just a relaxed conversation with a CFP® who’s here to help.

Frequently asked questions.
What would be helpful to bring to our first intro meeting?
Nothing is required—we’ll guide the conversation. But if you’d like to come prepared, a recent pay stub, your most recent tax return, and a list of your accounts (retirement, brokerage, savings) gives us a helpful starting point. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything—we’ll sort it out together.
What’s a fiduciary?
A fiduciary has a legal obligation to put your interests ahead of their own. All LifeSighted advisors are fiduciaries and have taken a fiduciary oath to treat you with the highest ethical standards.
Are you fee only?
We are an independent, fee-only firm. 100% of LifeSighted’s income comes directly from our clients’ fees. We refuse to receive commissions or kickbacks of any kind. This minimizes our exposure to conflicts of interest and best aligns us with your success.
What does working with you cost?
Ongoing relationships start at $9,900 per year, and your fee depends on the complexity of your financial life. There’s no asset minimum. We’ll talk through what we recommend and what it will cost during the introduction process, so you’ll have real numbers before you make any decisions.
How do you justify your fee?
Our fee covers work that typically takes several separate professionals: ongoing planning, investment management, tax planning, and the preparation of your return, all coordinated by one advisor who knows your full picture. Hired separately, those services usually add up to more than what we charge, in both your time and your money. Some of that value is measurable. Tax planning decisions, equity comp timing, and avoiding expensive mistakes can each matter more than the fee in a given year, though no one can promise what any year will look like.
The rest is harder to measure but just as real. You have someone to think through decisions with, and you get your time and attention back.
Do you prepare my tax return?
Yes. Tax planning and tax preparation are included in every ongoing planning relationship, with one personal return included in your fee. Your return is prepared by the same team that builds your plan, and our advisors hold both the CFP® and EA credentials.
Where is my money held? Do I still own my accounts?
Your accounts are held in your name at an independent custodian, either Charles Schwab or Altruist. We have a limited authorization to manage the investments and deduct our advisory fee. You own the accounts, receive monthly statements directly from Schwab or Altruist, and you can log in and see them whenever you like.
Can you work virtually?
Yes. We work with clients virtually across the country. It saves you travel time and makes it easy to meet when life is busy.
